Usage

ProAir HFA (Salbutamol) is a prescription quick-relief inhaler used to treat acute bronchospasm attacks in children over two years old with asthma (source). This medication is also used to treat or prevent bronchospasms that may cause breathing problems in adults and children over four years old. Proair may also be used to avoid breathing problems while exercising. Salbutamol belongs to a class of drugs known as bronchodilators. It works by relaxing the muscles around the airways, widening the airways so you can breathe more easily. The HFA version does not use chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) to propel the medication.

It is essential to take this medication exactly as your doctor prescribes or refer to the package leaflet. For personalized advice, please consult your doctor.
