Product Details

Camptosar is a cancer medication used to treat colon and rectum cancer. It’s usually given in combination with other cancer medications as combination chemotherapy. It works by interfering with the growth and spread of cancer cells.

The common side effects of Camptosar include: diarrhea, constipation, nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, loss of appetite, weakness, fever, pain, signs of infection, abnormal liver function tests, temporary hair loss.

Precautions

There can be interactions between Camptosar and other medications. In particular:

o Antifungals
o Antiseizure medications
o Antiviral medications
o Nefazodone
o St. John’s wort

2. I need to have surgery, but I’m being treated with Camptosar. Is this okay?

3. I had to be DNA tested before taking Camptosar. Why is this?
