Use: Inflammation, allergies

The active ingredient is Prednisolone, and it belongs to the group of drugs called corticosteroids. Corticosterioids work bypreventing the production of chemicals within your body that cause inflammation, and therefore inflammation does not occur. The ophthalmic version comes in eye drop form and is used for inflammation, irritation and itching of the eyes caused by illness or allergy. The oral version is used for inflammation within the body caused by various conditions. It is sometimes used for patients with arthritis or lupus. Your doctor may recommend it for other purposes not listed.

Prednisolone Side Effects
The possible Prednisolone side effects include:
• Acne, dry skin, thinned skin, bruising;
• Changes in shape or location of body fat;
• Increased sweating, headaches, dizziness;
• Insomnia, changes in moods;
• Nausea, stomach pain, bloating;

More serious side effects may include:
• Bloody stools, coughing blood;
• Depression, strange thoughts or behavior;
• High blood pressure;
