Usage

PregVit (Multivitamins and supplements) is a prescription supplement used by women planning to become pregnant, who are pregnant and who recently had a baby. PregVit also supplies the body with folic acid, especially for those taking medications used for seizure control or known to decrease folate levels or require a high dose of the folic acid supplement, in their doctor's opinion. The active ingredient in PregVit is multiple vitamins and minerals, such as folic acid. The supplements and minerals belong to the class of medication called pre and postpartum supplements. It works by supplying the body with specific amounts of various nutrients necessary to support the nutritional needs of women during and immediately after pregnancy.
