Product Details

Emergen C (Vitamin C) is a multivitamin product used to treat or prevent vitamin deficiency, specifically vitamin c deficiency. Vitamin C deficiency can occur due to poor diet, certain illness, or during pregnancy. Severe vitamin C deficiency is characterized by rough, bumpy skin, corkscrew-shaped body hair, red hair follicles, fingernails with red spots or lines, dry, damaged skin, easy bruising, slow healing wounds, painful joints, bleeding gums, and overall poor immunity and health. Emergen C is effective in both treating vitamin C deficiency and preventing it.

Common side effects of Emergen C include constipation, diarrhea, and upset stomach. These effects are usually temporary and may disappear as your body adjusts to this medication. If any of these side effects worsen or become severe, contact your doctor. An allergic reaction to this drug is rare, however if you notice any signs of an allergic reaction, seek emergency medical attention.

To make sure this medication is safe for you, tell your doctor about any allergies you have, or if you have a history of alcohol abuse, liver problems, stomach/intestinal issues, vitamin b12 deficiency, an allergy to aspartame, phenylketonuria, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
