Usage

Trelegy Ellipta (Flut icasone Furoate/Umeclidinium Bromide/Vilanterol Trifenatate) is a prescription inhalation powder used for the treatment of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), including chronic bronchitis or emphysema and asthma (source). Fluticasone is a steroid that prevents the release of substances in the body that cause inflammation. Umeclidinium is an anticholinergic. Vilanterol is a bronchodilator. According to the official website, Trelegy Ellipta 100/62.5/25 mcg is the only strength approved for COPD. You should use this medication regularly to be effective. After each use, rinse your mouth and spit the water without swallowing (source). Trelegy should not be used to relieve sudden breathing problems and will not replace a rescue inhaler such as Proventil Inhaler Canada.

It is crucial to take the medication exactly as your doctor prescribes or refer to the package insert. Please consult with your doctor for personalized advice.
