Product Details

Fetzima (Levomilnacipran) is a prescription medication to treat major depressive disorder. Levomilnacipran) is a selective serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor antidepressant (SNRI). This medication works by helping to restore the balance of certain natural substances in the brain. It may help improve your mood, sleep and appetite which may help you live a normal life. Fetzima should not be used to treat fibromyalgia.

The common side effects may include constipation, dizziness, increased sweating, nose bleeds and vomiting. Get medical help right away if you have any of the following symptoms:
• Fast heartbeat;
• Hallucinations;
• Loss of coordination;
• Severe dizziness;
• Severe nausea or vomiting or diarrhea;
• Twitching muscles;
• Unexplained fever;
• Unusual agitation or restlessness

You should not take Fetzima if you are allergic to Levomilnacipran or if you have any other allergies. Before you start taking this medication, talk to your doctor about your medical history and about all the medications you take including OTC and herbal medications. This medication may make you dizzy or blur your vision. Alcohol or marijuana can make you dizzy. You should not drive, use machinery or do anything that needs you to be alert. This medication should only be used during pregnancy if it is clearly needed. This medication may harm an unborn baby. If you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant, talk to your doctor. It is unknown if this medication passes into breast milk. There may be an interaction between Fetzima and other medications such as tramadol, a diuretic or water pill, blood thinner, buspirone, lithium, sumatriptan, rizatriptan, etc.
