Product Details

Frontline and Frontline Plus (Fipronil) is available OTC for dogs and cats for the treatment and prevention of fleas, ticks and chewing lice and it also aids in the control of sarcoptic mange in dogs. Frontline Plus also breaks life cycle of the fleas by preventing the development of immature stages. Frontline Plus will get rid of fleas within 18 hours of contact with your pet and it will kill all ticks within 48 hours after coming in contact with your pet. Frontline spray can be applied directly for immediate and long-lasting control of fleas and ticks up to 30 days. The spray will kill existing flea and tick infestation and the fleas before they lay eggs to prevent infestation. The spray will control Brown Dog ticks when it is applied monthly; it controls Paralysis ticks when it’s applied every 3 weeks and adult fleas when applied every 4 to 12 weeks.

The possible Frontline side effects can include:

• Agitation or lethargy;
• Seizures;
• Skin irritation;
• Tremors;
• Vomiting

Read all the instructions and warnings before you use this medication on your pets. Frontline Plus and the spray for dogs remains effective even after bathing, water immersion, or exposure to sunlight. You should avoid any contact with the treated area until dry. Do not reapply Frontline Plus for 30 days. Make sure you use the correct type of Frontline for your pet. Do not share applicators between pets. Once you have applied Frontline, allow the medication to be absorbed on its own, keep your pet dry for 48 hours.

1. Can I pet my dog after I apply Frontline?
Answer:You can handle, stroke and cuddle with your pet as usual as soon as the application is dry.

2. How often can I apply Frontline Plus on my pet?
Answer: It is recommended that you apply it every three weeks for Flea infestation as it works better.
