The AeroChamber is designed to help those patients who have a difficult time using a Metered Dose Inhaler (MDI) device. The AeroChamber helps patients achieve the desired effect of their medication without having to worry about whether or not they have used their inhaler properly. AeroChamber Plus VHC utilizes a 149-ml. chamber that is made from a unique, flexible, shatter resistant polymer blend, which improves aerodynamics and facilitates particle size selectivity to ensure the maximum fine particle dose. AeroChamber Plus significantly reduces the amount of coarse particles that are more likely to deposit in the upper respiratory tract.
AeroChamber with Infant Mask, Child Mask or Adult Mask
The AeroChamber Plus Valved Holding Chamber with Small or Medium ComfortSeal mask and colored exhalation valve is specifically designed to meet the needs of low tidal volume patients. Each product feature has been incorporated to ensure maximum aerosol performance while encouraging compliance. AeroChamber Plus VHC's robust colored exhalation valve system is built into the mask and ensures low resistance to airflow. Exhalation is directed away from the patient's eyes for increased delivery safety. Certain formulations might cause unwanted ocular side effects if there is contact with the aerosolized medication. AeroChamber Plus VHC's colored exhalation valves are clearly visible to provide feedback to the caregiver on proper functioning.
