Product Details

Albuterol Nebule Solution is an adrenergic bronchodilator used to treat wheezing and shortness of breath caused by breathing conditions such as asthma or certain types of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It is also used to prevent exercise induced attacks. It is a quick relief medication. It works by targeting certain receptors in the airways to open breathing passages and relax muscles. Controlling symptoms of breathing problems can decrease time lost from work or school, improve your overall quality of life, and lessen the overall strain on your lungs.

Common side effects of Albuterol include chest pain, fast or pounding heartbeats, dizziness, shakiness or nervousness, headache, back pain, or body aches, or symptoms of the common cold. Contact your doctor if you notice more serious side effects such as wheezing, choking, or other breathing problems after using this medication, severe chest pain or irregular heartbeats, pain or burning when you urinate, signs of high blood sugar (increased thirst, increased urination, hunger, dry mouth, fruity breath odour), or signs of low potassium (leg cramps, constipation, irregular heartbeats, extreme thirst, numbness or tingling, muscle weakness, or limp feeling. If you experience any serious side effects or signs of an allergic reaction, seek emergency medical attention.

You should not use Albuterol if you are allergic to albuterol or milk proteins. To make sure Albuterol is safe for you, tell your doctor if you have ever had heart disease, high blood pressure, congestive heart failure, a heart rhythm disorder, a seizure disorder, diabetes, overactive thyroid (hyperthyroidism), or low levels of potassium in your blood. It is unknown if Albuterol will harm an unborn or breastfeeding baby. Talk to your doctor to discuss any possible risks.
