Exorex Information

Exorex is a form of skin lotion of which is to be used for external skin use only. Exorex is a lotion of which contains a coal and tar solution to relieve and prevent skin itching in persons who suffer from the condition known as Psoriasis. It is also used to soften the outer layer of the skin. The active ingredients and the mixture of coal and tar have been proven to have anti-bacterial properties due to the acid levels in the ingredients. You should not use Exorex if you are allergic to any of the ingredients used within the medication. Exorex comes in shampoo, scalp moisturiser, PSE cream, gel form which are available over the counter.

Exorex Side Effects

As with all other medications you should use Exorex with caution as it can cause certain side effects if it is abused or if you are sensitive to any of the active ingredients. Not everybody will experience a side effect, however it is important that you are able to recognise them in the event that you do come into to contact with one or more side effects as a result of your use of Exorex. You may experience some skin irritation, increased sensitivity of the skin and some symptoms of acne like infection of the skin whilst using this medication. If this happens to you whilst using Exorex you should consult your doctor for further medical guidance or advice.

Propyl hydroxybenzoate (E216) and methyl hydroxybenzoate (E218) may cause allergic reactions. If any of the side affects you experience get serious or appear to persist for a prolonged amount of time, then you should stop using Exorex and seek emergency medical help as soon as it is possible to do so.
