Permax Information

Permax (Pergolide Mesylate) is used to treat the symptoms of Parkinson's disease. It may be used in early treatment as the only medication, or used in combination with other medications as doctor prescribed. Pergolide works by affecting the level of dopamine in the central nervous system (CNS). It does not cure Parkinson's disease. Pergolide is not recommended for use in patients with a history of cardiac valvulopathy.
