Toradol (Ketorolac) is a prescription medication used for the short-term treatment of moderate to severe pain usually before or after medical procedures or surgery. Ketorolac is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). This medication works by blocking your body's production of certain natural substances that cause inflammation which helps to decrease swelling, pain, or fever. Reducing pain helps you to recover more comfortably so that you can return to your normal daily activities.

The common side effects of Toradol may include diarrhea, dizziness, drowsiness, headache, indigestion, nausea, stomach pain, and swelling.

• Kidney or liver disease

Do not drink alcohol; it may increase your risk of stomach bleeding. Tell your doctor about all the medications you take including prescription, OTC, herbal supplements and vitamins. There may be a drug interaction between Toradol and other medications such as pentoxifylline, probenecid, aspirin, or other NSAIDs. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breast-feeding. Toradol is not approved for use by anyone younger than two years old.
