Ellipta for COPD or Asthma? What You Should Know

written by CPOHealth - Apr 22, 2019

Millions of people are diagnosed with COPD and other lung-related illnesses, such as asthma and emphysema. The good news is, when found early, the proper treatment can be put into place that will help manage the symptoms and prolong life-expectancy. Of those treatments, inhalation devices that deliver medication directly to the lungs will likely be prescribed. Some of the newest inhalers on the market include Ellipta inhalers.

There are five different Ellipta inhalers, each one delivering a different kind of medication. The type of Ellipta medication you are prescribed will depend on if you have COPD or asthma. Two work as a preventative treatment for asthma ( Arnuity & Breo), while the others, including Breo, Incruse, Anoro, Trelegy, work for COPD sufferers. These inhalers are preferred by patients, even over Diskus inhalers, because of their ease of use and advanced medication delivery system.

Check out the infographic below to learn more about Ellipta inhalers (what they should be used for and what they shouldn’t), as well as how to use one, and which Ellipta inhaler will work best for you. We carry all five of GSK’s Ellipta inhalers here at Canada Pharmacy Online at affordable prices.

For those of you interested in giving an Ellipta medication a try, we do offer a $10 off coupon for leaving a review of the product. To be eligible, you must purchase an Ellipta medication and have your review be accepted to be eligible. To learn more, contact one of our customer service representatives by calling 1-866-920-3784.
