Mosapride (Mosapride) is a prescription medication used to treat heartburn, nausea, and vomiting due to gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GERD), irritable bowel syndrome, and postoperative ileus in patients who recently had an abdominal surgery. The active ingredient in Mosapride is Mosapride. Mosapride belongs to a class of drugs called gastroprokinetic agents. Mosapride stimulates serotonin receptors in the gastrointestinal tract and releases acetylcholine to improve peristaltic function and gastric emptying. As a result, it increases food movement from the stomach to the intestine, thereby promoting gastric emptying and preventing the reflux of food into the food pipe.
