Usage

Orgovyx (Relugolix) is a prescription medicine used in adults for treating advanced prostate cancer. The active ingredient in Orgovyx is Relugolix. Relugolix belongs to the class of medication called gonadotropin-releasing hormone antagonists (GnRH). It works by decreasing the amount of testosterone (a male sex hormone) produced by the body. This mechanism of action slows and stops the spread of prostate cancer cells that need testosterone to grow.

Side Effects and Precautions

The common side effects of Orgovyx are nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, unintended weight gain, hyperglycemia, hypercholesterolemia, and muscle and joint pain.

Stop using Orgovyx and contact your doctor right away if you have any of the severe side effects such as:
• Breast enlargement in males;
• Erectile dysfunction;
• Symptoms suggestive of an allergic reaction, such as swelling of the face, lips, tongue, throat, trouble swallowing, difficulty with breathing, rash, or redness all over the body;
