Crinone is an external vaginal gel. The active ingredient is progesterone, which is a female hormone important to many cycles in relation to fertility in women. Progesterone causes changes in the lining of the uterus, making it easier for an egg to attach to the uterus. It is used as part of fertility treatment program called Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) in women who struggle to conceive as a result of low progesterone levels. It is also used to induce menstrual periods in women who have not been having periods as a result of low progesterone levels in the body. Crinone Side Effects
The possible Crinone side effects include:
• Breast pain, swelling or tenderness;
• Diarrhea, constipation, bloating;
• Dizziness, drowsiness, fatigue;
• Increased urination at night;
• Joint or muscle pain;

• Mild nausea, vomiting, bloating, stomach cramps;
