Fexofenadine belongs to the class of drugs called selective histamine H1 - receptor antagonist. Do not take with fruit juices (such as apple, grapefruit, or orange) since they may decrease the absorption of this drug. Do not take antacids containing aluminium and magnesium within 2 hours of taking this medication. These antacids can decrease the absorption of Fexofenadine. Tell your doctor if your condition does not improve or if it worsens.

Before you start using Allegra 180, inform your doctor about your medical history, especially if you have:
• Heart disease, since this kind of medicine may lead to a fast or irregular heartbeat are elderly;
• kidney problems or trouble in urinating;
• Liver problems

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking any medicine. Do not take the Fexofenadine tablet if you are pregnant unless it is necessary. Fexofenadine tablets are not recommended during breastfeeding.
