Warnings and Interactions

Before taking this product, tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to aluminum hydroxide or magnesium; or have any other allergies. Inform your doctor if you use another antacid for your intestinal ulcer, particularly chewable tablets or antihistamines. AlmaGel is a suspension and should be taken orally, usually after meals or at night. You should follow your doctor's prescription carefully. You should not use AlmaGel suspension more than four times a day. Use the measuring scoop with the suspension and take about 1-2 scoops (5 ml) per time. To be effective, shake the bottle several times before using AlmaGel suspension. Its effects can be felt within a few minutes. Your doctor may prescribe other medications that lower acid production, such as cimetidine, ranitidine, and proton pump inhibitors, such as omeprazole. You should use your medicines as prescribed and inform your doctor if there is no improvement in your condition after 14 days of regular use.

Before you start using AlmaGel, inform your doctor about your medical history, especially if you have the following:
• Chronic alcoholics;
• Kidney problems;
• Liver problems

Tell your doctor about all your medications, including prescriptions, over-the-counter medications, herbal products, and vitamin supplements. AlmaGel suspension may pass into breast milk. Discuss with your doctor before breastfeeding. There may be a drug interaction between AlmaGel and other drugs such as aspirin, diclofenac, pazopanib, and raltegravir. Store your medication in a safe place and away from children. However, it may be stored in the refrigerator but do not freeze.
