Usage

Juluca (Dolutegravir and Rilpivirine) is a prescription HIV treatment used without other antiretroviral medications to treat Human Immunodeficiency Virus-1 (HIV-1) infection in adults who have been undetectable for at least six months. This medication replaces their current anti-HIV-1 medication if the patient meets certain requirements. Juluca is a combination of two medications, Dolutegravir and Rilpivirine in one small pill. Juluca is used to help control HIV infection and to decrease the amount of HIV in your body so your immune system can work better. Dolutegravir is an integrase inhibitor while Rilpivirine is a non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NNRTI). Both of these medications work by blocking the virus from growing and infecting more cells. Juluca will lower your chance of HIV complications and improves the quality of your life. Juluca is not a cure for HIV infection or AIDS. Take Juluca exactly as prescribed by your doctor and always take Juluca with a meal.
